BARGAINISTAN

The game is a tactical bargaining board game where players dive into the chaotic setting of a bazaar. Played with 3 to 4 people, each player takes on the role of both, a crafty merchant and an interested customer, where they must buy, sell, bargain, and even scam & steal their way to collecting the items they need to complete their goal outfits. 

The game encapsulates these dynamics by making bluffing, negotiation, and persuasion key to every transaction. With items in different conditions (new, second-hand, or fake) and effect cards like stealing and auctions, we aim to evoke both the spirit of competitiveness and anticipation in the player. Players can also appraise item quality, and test their bargaining skills to close the best deals. In the end, every turn is an opportunity—will you strike a fair trade, drive a hard bargain, sell items online, or pull off a sneaky scheme?
